The programme is located in Sydney, capital of New South Wales, and is one of the top Ocean Lifeguard Programmes in the world. The programme is based at Manly Life Saving Club – the most successful surf club in the history of the Australia Surf Life Saving Association – and will revolve around Manly Beach and Manly Swimming Centre.

Australia is the perfect location to train as an Ocean Lifeguard thanks to its large swells and rugged coastline, not to mention the large number of people who spend time in and near the water. If you are passionate about water safety and want to reach your peak in personal strength and fitness, this course is ideal.


Pool Lifeguard Training in Manly

If you want to work all over the world as a Pool Lifeguard, this is the course for you! Your training will be based at the Manly Swimming Centre, next to Manly Beach, and you will be trained by some of the best and most experienced lifeguards in the world. They will teach you about pool safety, use of chemicals and emergency First Aid. You will also work on your fitness, a very important component of any lifeguarding course.

You will also do some of your fitness and water safety training on the beach, giving you a more complete understanding of the job facing a professional lifeguard.
