CAMPS THROUGHOUT THE USA
Work as a Camp Leader in America this Summer!

All land sports, Rugby, Football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Volleyball, Athletics, Basketball!

Camp Leaders are looking for people who have some experience in, or a desire to work with children or who have relevant skills to offer to camps. No qualifications are necessary, but are a bonus. You need to be available for at least 9 weeks from June. Training will be given upon arrival in the States.

The Summer Camp Experience
Summer camps in the USA are a tradition that provides a unique environment for children to develop both physical and social skills. Over 8 million children attend camp each year and there are over 10,000 camps across the United States.

Camp Leaders aim to help continue the excellence of the camp community that has provided a source of positive development for so many people over the past hundred years. Our fulfillment comes from helping to provide an exchange of ideas and skills between Camp Leaders recruits and campers.

Training
Part of the Camp Leaders program is to ensure that all of our recruits are both well trained, aware and prepared for their experience. After the application process recruits will receive regular updates on their progress and dates of upcoming briefing evenings.

There will be a detailed preparation day (April/May) tutored by experienced summer camp staff along with extensive training in the USA before camp begins. Camp Leaders intends to provide summer camps with people of the highest quality, and in turn to form a lasting association with you.

Benefits & Costs
A summer at camp will provide you with many benefits which range from building your C.V. to providing you with a most fulfilling and enjoyable experience. You will receive three meals per day, accommodation and pocket money(payment). Your pocket money may be substantially more than this depending upon the program that you participate in, your experience and your relevant qualifications.

The Camp Leaders programme includes return flights to the USA, comprehensive insurance, dealing with your J1 Visa & cultural exchange forms, pocket money of at least $850, full board accommodation during camp and plenty of time to travel the USA independently at the end of the camp period.

Camp Leaders charge a placement fee of £279 inclusive of insurance, Open ended return flights, Visa paperwork, food and accommodation, 24 hour helpline, 100% placement promise and a local interview by a qualified interviewer.
