Mark Warner is the UK's leading independent beach and ski operator with hotels in some of the world's top ski resorts and beautiful locations around the Med, Aegean, Red Sea and Indian Ocean. We are highly respected in the travel industry, with much of the success being attributed to the high quality of our staff and dedication to customer service.Reporting to the Resort Financial Controller, this role involves being responsible for the day to day finances within the hotel. Overseeing the accounting and control systems within the hotel and the production of accurate weekly accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the Hotel Manager as a member of the Head of Department team
- Ensuring timely and accurate production of the weekly resort accounts
- Providing assistance and support to the Resort Financial Controller
- Providing financial support to all departments within the hotel
- Reconciling the hotels petty cash transactions
- Preparing weekly staff wages summaries, commission and holiday pay forms
- Responsible for daily and weekly cash ups for all areas
- Weekly and monthly reconciliation of Mark Warner activities including tennis, watersports, hair and beauty and diving.
- Ad hoc accounting projects and assisting Head Office with any queries.

Requirements:

This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in finance, therefore would suit a numerate graduate or someone with some basic accounting experience looking to expand their knowledge.
