Description:

Every year Concordia offers a series of preparation weekends in Brighton for all volunteers aged 19+ interested in joining an international volunteer project in Africa, Asia, Middle East and Latin America.

The weekend will explore issues such as health and safety, cultural awareness, relations between the North and South, living conditions and development. There will also be the opportunity to talk to people who have been to the countries involved in the past.

The preparation weekend is also a good chance for all those who want to know more about the North South Programme but still haven’t decided where to go or what project to chose.

It is possible to apply for the preparation weekend only, with the intention of attending this event to decide on the right project for you.

Dates available for 2008 are the following:

13th-15th June
11th-13th July

Participation fee is £30 for food and accommodation.
