These placements will see you run sessions with passionate young tennis players. You will work alongside local coaches the players' technical and tactical knowledge through fun community workshops.


Tennis Coaching in Ghana

As an emerging sport, Ghanaian tennis has yet to make a strong impact on the international stage. However, the standard is steadily improving and the Ghanaian Tennis Association (GTA) has placed a strong emphasis on the importance of developing the country's young players. Our tennis project will allow you to work with young players who are eager to have guidance from a Western 'coach'. If you are confident enough, you will also have access to some of Ghana's top players, enabling you to work alongside GTA coaches and gain a firsthand insight into the progression of the sport.


Tennis Coaching in South Africa

You will work with an organisation in Port Elizabeth, supported by the Roger Federer Foundation, to develop grassroots tennis and make it more accesible to young people from poorer backgrounds. Through fun and exciting training sessions you will teach aspiring young sportsmen and women the basics of tennis and help to improve their fitness. Matches and tournaments can also be organised for the more advanced players, adding a competitive element to their training experience and developing their confidence.
