Description:
Make a difference at the biggest monkey rehabilitation centre in South Africa. Global Vision International has linked up with this centre which provides a sanctuary for over 500 orphaned and injured Vervet monkeys. The centre is much in need of volunteers who have a love for animals and are prepared to become completely involved in the care and rehabilitation of these wonderful creatures. Volunteers can join for four weeks and upwards and will be fully trained in all aspects of animal care needed for this project. Tasks range from feeding and caring for the orphaned baby Vervets and monitoring the monkeys, to collecting food, helping to build new facilities and assisting with fundraising.
