BARILOCHE SKI AREA
Bariloche offers ski-able terrain for all levels of ability. From this season on, the unification of its ski areas will offer 600 hectares of skiable surface divided into 53 well-signaled runs of various difficulties, which reach 2,000 meters above sea level. 40 lifts can transport over 35,000 people per hour up the mountain and 60% of the runs are for the intermediate level.
COACHING
- BASI Level 1 & Level 2 (optional) in ski and snowboard with ski school experience, tactical and psychological sessions, freeride and freestyle.
- 5 full days per week with 1-to-1 coaching, video analysis and formal feedback reports.
- BASI Trainers from Europe and from AADIDES (the Argentinian equivalent of BASI) to give you a bit of Latino style to your skiing and snowboarding and to take you to the secret sweetspots on the mountain.
ACCOMMODATION & FOOD
The base for the course will be set in the comfortable surroundings of the Hotel Carmen in Bariloche, a short journey from both the slopes and town. The group will be staying in bungalows on the hotel complex and all rooms have uninterrupted views of the mountain they will be skiing on throughout the program.
The complex contains the restaurant (for breakfast and dinner), heated indoor pool, modern gymnasium, hot tub, spa, sauna and games room. Dinner is a ‘full' choice of their menu each night, it is not a fixed menu, so means that there will be a choice of either fish, steak, chicken, lamb or a vegetarian option.
TOWN
The historic town of San Carlos de Bariloche is located in the heart of Patagonia in Argentina. Bariloche is a gateway to the Patagonia region, it's a town with magnificient charm and culture.
It's guaranteed that you will be always not far from lakes, forests, temptating for a trekking and of course mountains, perfect for both skiing and snowboarding! The actual town of Bariloche is 15- 20 minutes away from Cerro Catedral and convenient for night life, shopping, activities, casino, and a multitude of different kind of restaurants, tea houses and bars, you can experience the true South American culture, while you will never have to leave the ski resort.
Bariloche is the biggest city of this huge Lakes District, with 3 airports (both domestic and international), 3 hospitals, supermarkets and shops, selling chocholate, with manufacturing tradition going back to pre-colonial era.
