Description
The PSIA Summer Programme has been designed for potential ski instructors to train and qualify with Ski Academy Switzerland. Completion of your PSIA course will enable you to work for the winter 20010/11 season as a ski instructor in our partnered Ski Schools across Europe or the USA.
The Summer Programme will be split into two parts: • July to August 2009 (4 weeks) train and qualify. • Winter season 2009/10 work opportunities as a ski instructor work with our partner ski schools (optional).Over the 4 week course the SAS coaches will work on your personal skiing, allowing you to gain skills in steeps, bumps and piste performance. We will focus on each individual student covering every aspect of skiing including video analysis, providing a constant personal development ski and teaching programme for the duration of the course. During the course we will have various ski school directors from Europe (Verbier, Gstaad, Mount Snow, Killington to name just a few!) and USA conducting informal interviews for possible ski instructor positions within their ski schools.
