North America is obviously a massive geographical and demographically diverse area. This continent is the planet's 3rd largest, includes 23 countries and dozens of small islands (most of these are in the Caribbean where you might fancy doing a PADI course or marine conservation placement). There are all the Central American countries where TEFL courses and placements are popular. Mexico is unbelievable as a destination any kind of traveller with world famous coastlines, wildlife and world heritage sites.

The mountainous west United States of America and Canada host a multitude of ski instructor, snowboard instructor courses in some of the worlds greatest ski resorts. Or the ever popular summer camp jobs are ideal for travellers in terms of ease of getting a visa and a foot in the door. If you are really lucky you might get to see the midnight sun from Greenland, the worlds largest island.
