Get ready for a globetrotting extravaganza that's full of legendary traveller trails...

First stop, Vietnam! Put the Coppola and Kubrick movies to one side, this is a country of serenity and beauty. Check out the charms of Hanoi... an array of lakes, French Colonial architecture and ancient temples.

Making your way overland to the bright lights of Singapore, you might stop off in Thailand and chill on a white sandy beach or wander through the majestic temples of Ankor Wat along the way.

The real fun starts when you hit Australia - Melbourne is a diverse city and it's easy to see why locals and backpackers alike love it. The café culture, fantastic wine and food and laid-back lifestyle make it one of the most appealing cities Down Under. Sydney however is a close rival for everyone's affections! This bustling city brims with passion - the harbour waters glitter in the sun and the lively bars will entertain you before a cosy hostel bed calls you home.

When you've done Aussie life Down Under, the dream destination of New Zealand beckons. Fly down into Christchurch and backpack it up to Auckland, checking out Fiordland and spectacular Milford Sound along the way. Tickle your adventure bone in Queenstown and pause for a spot of bungy jumping, white water rafting and jet boating.

Auckland is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean so it's an ideal spot to surf! Catch the waves off the famous black sandy beaches before taking a trek into the rainforest or sampling some Auckland wine.

Next on the globetrotting trail are Fiji and the Cook Islands. With 333 Fijian islands of all sizes you might like to take some time to hop around. You'll forget all your worries as you sleep in a hammock and float in the blue waters. Largely unspoilt by tourism, the Cook Islands are home to vivid blue lagoons, palm trees, white beaches and bright clear skies - live a slow paced, peaceful life here for a while!

Last stop, Los Angeles, for a little glitz and glamour before returning to the UK. Check out the legendary Sunset Strip, Hollywood and star studded Beverly Hills before heading east to New York - a city of famous landmarks. Escape the buzz in Central Park and grab a bagel loaded with cream cheese before you catch the plane home... what better way to end the globetrotting trip of a lifetime?
