More about your RTW travel route & destinations
This trip really is all about doing a travel journey differently, and you can also feel good
about your carbon footprint. You may have to take the odd flight here and there, but mostly
you'll be making your own way across the globe by plane,
train and
automobile. Oh, and
possibly on four legs.
As soon as you step off the ferry (or the Eurostar) you know that your trip of a
lifetime has begun. Don't forget that you can pick up an
InterRail pass and see 29
European countries with just one ticket, so Paris is your gateway to the rest of the
continent!
When you've seen a bit of
Asia, it's time to hop on the plane to
Australia, as no amount of swimming will get
you there! You'll also have to fly from Sydney to Santiago, but from the Latin
south you can make your way by train, bus or donkey towards
North America.
Pick up a Cadillac and cruise up the coast towards New York, where there's always time
to see the sights and do a little shopping before jumping on a transatlantic jet back to
the UK.
