Discount travel cards - your options
Spending a few pounds on the right discount card can end up saving you hundreds
of pounds both while you are at home and while away backpacking and seeing the world.
There are a few different cards out there,
so you need to check which one you are eligible for. Whether you are a full time student, a
teacher, or just under 26, you will be able to get money off thousands of
products, tickets and hostels.

If you’re a full time student, you can buy an ISIC card which will get you great
discounts on accommodation, flights, restaurants, guidebooks and much more.
If you’re not a student, but you are under 26 you can buy an IYTC card which will get you
nearly all the same discounts as the ISIC card, both at home and abroad.
If you are a full time teacher at an accredited educational establishment, you will be
eligible for a ITIC card, which can get your loads of special offers and discounts.
Become a member of the YHA if you plan on staying in hostels at home or abroad. Having a
YHA card means you pay less for your accommodation and also gives you access to
thousands of travel related savings.
