Description
Applicants must be aged 19+
Key Duties:
- Control and manage all medications held at camp
- Monitor and manage first aid supplies
- Administer medication as required
- Attend to any illnesses or sicknesses in-house
- Enjoy yourself!
Points to note:
You will be responsible for managing any medication belonging to Campers and administer it as required, including briefing group leaders and other contact staff on Campers’ medical requirements where appropriate.
You will be available to attend to any accidents /illnesses in resort.
Personal requirements / characteristics:
The Camp Nurse is usually a qualified nurse, or in the process of studying nursing. Other relevant medical training (paramedic etc) is also acceptable. You should be friendly and approachable as well as responsible, professional and organised.
Remuneration:
- Accommodation
- Three meals per day
- Entrance / admissions / equipment relating to all activities in which you participate
- Return transport to resort from UK (other departure points available on request)
- Weekly wage
You must have the right to work in the UK as although you will work in Switzerland, employment is in all cases on UK contracts. Please do not apply if you cannot prove your right to work in the UK.
